This lovingly restored Castle dating back to the 18th century is the perfect location for a family holiday, a get together with friends or golfers looking to play at the famous courses, such as St Andrews (49m), Gleneagles (26m) or Carnoustie (68m). Based just west of the beautifully quaint and picturesque seaside village of Culross which is an absolute delight for photographer enthusiasts. The village also has a wonderful little beach too, ideal for the kids.? You will feel totally relaxed after a stay here.
As soon as you drive through the gates of this historical and magical place you know you are going to be in for a real treat. Parts of the original 16th century Castle are still in view and St Serf's chapel, dating back to 1872. within the grounds, will make your stay a real step back in time. However the main 18th Century Castle has been carefully and beautifully restored and the Orangery within is a site for sore eyes. For now, part of this amazing place is available for weekly stays, with access to all areas, so you can delight in the full splendour of this historical home. The interior shots for The Little Vampire Movie, starring Richard E Grant and Alice Krige, were even filmed here, so also a great location for film makers.
The surrounding grounds and gardens are spectacular and are looked after by the onsite gardener and caretaker, who in his words said "has the job of his all time dreams". There is also a monkey puzzle, for the adventurous amongst us, remember your mobile phone though, just in case!

There is also a fantastic sun terrace too where the views are absolutely spectacular.
