Living in Hyndland
Perhaps one of the most popular neighbourhoods in the whole of Glasgow, Hyndland is a bohemian area which has an interesting mix of property types on offer. The centre of Glasgow, just a matter of minutes away, is a haven for people who love shopping, but it's worth remembering that retail therapy in Hyndland can be exceptionally enjoyable. Stores along Hyndland Road include independent clothing emporiums and, just when you need a little rest and recuperation, a number of excellent bars and restaurants.
One of the more pleasing aspects of living in Broomhill and Hyndland is the opportunity to savour the local coffee culture. This area of Glasgow is very well served by medical facilities, including several healthcare establishments in Hyndland Road. When more intensive care is needed, you will find a number of excellent hospitals in the region. They include Gartnavel General in Great Western Road and, to the south, the 1,600-bed Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
