The 25 least expensive areas to privately rent in Scotland are listed below, and it is noteworthy that Glasgow is the only city that appears on the list. In other words Aberdeen and Edinburgh have no areas that are as affordable. In fact Edinburgh’s cheapest neighbourhood is Wester Hailes & Sighthill which averages £560 for a 2 bed flat while in Aberdeen the cheapest area is Torry with typical equivalent rents of £636.
